They sound like every other choir you've ever heard, except with poorer musical selections. I mean, they turned "Where Is Love" from Oliver into a song about god And then the preaching started.
If I wanted an overload of religion I would be a church-goer. I'm not; I was looking just for some killer music and left disappointed. A word on the space: the organ and the lighting are impressive. The rest of the building is a little creepy, to be honest.
It's this big, round, white space that looks like it's about to take off into outer space. Symphony Hall in Boston manages to be gorgeous and still have great acoustics, I'm just saying My friend thought I was joking when I said I wanted to see this but he loved today's Mothers day special event that had famous singer Bryn Terfel as a guest artist as he is recording a CD with the choir. There are new temples being dedicated all of the time- if you get a chance go to one- they are beautiful and interesting to see. On the LDS website you can view temple open houses to see if there is one close to you.

KimRichwine Nashville, TN. Do you have to be a member of the Morman church to go inside the temple? Thanks for the question. You must be a member to enter an LDS temple that is currently in service. However, there are some other possibilities to see the inside of a temple. If you visit Temple Square in SLC, you can visit the south visitors center which has a scale model of the temple featuring a cutaway to see the interior.
It is positioned in relationship to the full-size temple so you can get a sense of how the rooms are situated. The sister missionaries in the visitors center will explain the purpose and use of the various rooms. Another option is when a new temple is completed or an existing temple is refurbished,the church will provide guided tours of the temple before it is dedicated for worship services.
