However, there are some other possibilities to see the inside of a temple. If you visit Temple Square in SLC, you can visit the south visitors center which has a scale model of the temple featuring a cutaway to see the interior.

It is positioned in relationship to the full-size temple so you can get a sense of how the rooms are situated. The sister missionaries in the visitors center will explain the purpose and use of the various rooms. Another option is when a new temple is completed or an existing temple is refurbished,the church will provide guided tours of the temple before it is dedicated for worship services.
